Then we ran an experiment that changed everything. We gave medical students questions on material they had never been taught. On AI-generated questions, they scored 86% - not by knowing the content, but by reading the cues. The longest option. The oddly specific one. The answer the question structure quietly points to.

On the same students, our cue-controlled questions returned 38% - exactly what you'd expect from people who hadn't learned the material.

TiobExam is a tool for lecturers, not students - and it protects integrity in a way most AI tools don't. Every question is screened to remove the test-wise cues that let students pass by gaming the options instead of knowing the material. You stay the gatekeeper; we make sure the questions you approve actually measure knowledge.

"Will questions be generic?"

No. Questions are generated from your actual lecture content - your examples, your case studies, your terminology. The AI doesn't pull from generic question banks. It creates questions specific to what you taught, using the context you provided.

"Can I actually edit the questions?"

Absolutely. Full editing control - modify wording, change options, adjust difficulty, rewrite explanations, or reject entirely. Think of AI-generated questions as a first draft that you refine. Most lecturers find they use 70-80% with minimal changes.

"What happens to my materials?"

Your materials are processed to extract content for question generation, then stored securely in your account. We don't share your content, don't train AI models on it, and you can delete it anytime. Your IP stays yours.
